چکیده
Urban roads are especially vulnerable to waterlogging during rainfall events. Assessments of urban road risk critical for disaster prevention and mitigation. This paper presents a rapid practical approach assessing the based on source–pathway–receptor concept digital elevation model (DEM). Waterlogging sources identified by neighborhood analysis, overland flow pathways extracted using DEM, properties cross-nodes between used assess roads. Futian District in Shenzhen, China, is selected as study area. The results show that clustered residential land parcels low-lying sections, while most intersections overpasses central area at higher risks. also found decreases grade increases. Actual telephonic flooding records reported areas were validate method, with displaying good agreement actual conditions. prospects generalizing this framework its usage discussed. proposed provides support pluvial assessment prevention.
